04 / EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS

Knowledge earned.
Judgment applied.

The education and technical foundations behind my work. Formal qualifications matter to me, but their real value shows in the questions I can ask and the decisions I can support.

01 / FORMAL EDUCATION

Study with
practical context.

Completed qualifications are distinguished from education that is still underway. I would rather state a qualification accurately than make it sound more impressive than it is.

COMPLETED QUALIFICATION

Cybersecurity diploma

Completed

I have completed a cybersecurity diploma, building formal knowledge that supports my practical experience in security, risk, technology, and governance.

Institution, program title, and graduation date are omitted until the exact credential details are available for publication.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Bachelor's studies in cybersecurity

In progress

I continue studying cybersecurity at the bachelor's level, strengthening the technical and academic foundations that support my professional work.

This is ongoing study, not a claim that a bachelor's degree has been earned.

02 / INDUSTRY CERTIFICATIONS

Fundamentals
that hold up.

All three CompTIA credentials listed here have been earned. Specific certificate IDs and dates can be added once confirmed.

01
CompTIA Security+

Cybersecurity foundations, threats and vulnerabilities, security controls, risk, and security operations.

02
CompTIA Network+

Networking concepts, infrastructure, troubleshooting, and the practical systems that connect technology.

03
CompTIA A+

Core IT support, hardware, software, troubleshooting, and foundational technical problem solving.

THE LEARNING CONTINUES

Credentials are
part of the story.

Certifications provide a foundation and a common language. Experience adds the nuance: constraints, imperfect information, competing priorities, and the responsibility of making recommendations that people can actually act on.

My work has also involved learning outside formal programs, through practical web development, security documentation, service evaluation, and customer-facing discussions. I distinguish that applied learning from formal credentials rather than treating every tool I've used as a certification.
